Sokoban.org is built using the free and open source technology - the LAMP stack, and is running on a Xen VPS (virtual private server) provided by Linode.

July 13, 2009 Launched a website http://sokoutil.orgfree.com as the homepage of our Sokoban level searching tool SokoFind.
June, 2010 Built an online Sokoban Competition System on http://sokoutil.orgfree.com to host the MF8 Sokoban competitions starting from the 14th one.
Nov. 11, 2010 Moved the website to http://sokoban.zzl.org.
Dec. 12, 2010 Registered the domain name sokoban.ws.
Jan. 28, 2011 Moved the website for the second time, to a shared host by west263.
Nov. 11, 2012 Registered the domain name sokoban.cn.
Dec. 2012 Bought the domain name sokoban.org.
July 30, 2013 Rent a VPS on Linode, and launched a new website with the domain name sokoban.org.
The first competition took place at MF8 forum on April 7, 2009.
We launched a dedicated website for submitting solutions since the 14th competition.
The competition levels are prepared and arranged by anian and stopheart with the help of gyjgw, zhenying, 20603 and many others. Competition website is programmed and maintained by Yang Chao.
